Much like the piazza it resides in, the Sweaty Betty’s team is made up of characters that add their own unique flair, style, passion for their art and love of their studio. Paul is the fearless leader together with Bradipo and resident guest artists who operate altogether like a well oiled machine, agreeing that along with sense of community it really is about taking the time to give people an awesome tattoo. If you’re worried about being able to communicate exactly what you want, no worries! The Sweaty Betty’s crew speaks English very well.
As Paul would say, “90 % of people who want to get a tattoo already have an idea of what they think they want. At our shop, we want them to come in and talk to us so we can work on a good concept that suits their body, matches their character and most of all, looks amazing.”

I absolutely love my tattoo from Sweaty Betty’s. Everyone there was so friendly and Paul talked with me to create a beautiful design of a chrysanthemum flower. I would 100% recommend this shop to anyone looking to get a tattoo while in Florence. The final product came out great and is actually my favorite tattoo I have!
