Who is Ai Weiwei:

From China, Ai Weiwei is a contemporary artist trying to bridge the gap in the relationship of tradition and modernity. He denounces the inconsistencies and gaps between the individual and the community in today’s world.

Libero (Freedom):

This exhibition is the first to stretch across the entirety of Palazzo Strozzi. It possesses artwork from all throughout Ai Weiwei’s career.  The exhibit includes objects, photography and video series, and sculptures.  The exhibit gives the viewer the opportunity to explore the genius of the work, and to understand the personal narrative behind it all.
