5 Ways to Document Your Time Abroad

Studying abroad makes a lasting impact on a your life. Instead of just thinking you’ll remember every little detail about your time abroad, we’ve come up with a few ways to look back on your experience in Italy once it has come to end.

1. Journaling 

Setting aside some time each day to write about your day or a recent trip you went on is a great way to keep track of your time abroad! Since no one but you will see it you can write down your feelings, hesitations or thoughts about anything and everything dealing with your time in Italy.


2. Blogging

Want your friends and family to know what you’ve been up to since you’ve been away? An online blog is an amazing way to do that! Just post your website onto your Facebook and you can make everyone at home jealous of that recent trip to Prague by posting pictures of the John Lennon Wall and more!

3. Photo Albums

Nowadays, everything is online but an old-fashioned photo album or scrapbook is a great thing to look back on after your trip. Nothing beats putting a printed picture in a frame to decorate your room!

Not a fan of printed pictures? That’s ok! On Shutterly or other photo websites, you can create an online album that you can always go back to when feeling nostalgic!

4. Vlogging

A video blog! How cool is that?! With technology on the rise, many YouTubers are getting into vlogging. If you’re more of a talker than a writer, this is a fantastic way to keep track of your adventures abroad! There are tons of travel vlogs on YouTube if you’re looking for some inspiration!

5. Your very own #Hashtag

For every picture you decide to post on social media, link your own hashtag on the caption and then you and others can go back to the hashtag and scroll through your endless pictures from all over Europe!
