Thanks to Maurzio and Bruno we can eat all the pizza, pasta, and panini that we like because we can always go and work out at Swan Gym! These guys have been taking care of American and International students for years with the best gym prices in Florence. Unfortunately Florence is not like home where the gym is super cheap or free on your college campus. Having said that, Swan memberships are all inclusive so you can use free weights, workout machines (treadmills, elliptical, steppers, bikes & more) and take a range of classes that you have unlimited access to for the semester.

They provide small lockers with keys for your handbag or small belongings or you can bring your own lock and use the big lockers in the changing rooms. Of course there is wifi!! And music videos playing on the screens throughout the gym. Swan is right in the heart of Florence, just a 5 minute walk from the Duomo or Santa Croce square, close to many of your study abroad campuses.

We love the gym in the morning. Get there at 9am, before class, and literally you will have the whole place to yourself. Run, do weights, make your our circuit – the place is yours! The staff are super helpful and happy to give you advice or help you make a program when you sign up.
