The Diner Firenze Brunch American Menu Florence Eggs Acqua al 2

The Diner Florence

The first American diner in Florence, The Diner is your home away from home! The menu of pancakes, muffins, bagels, eggs benedict, omelets, juicy hamburgers, baked potato, and thick and creamy milkshakes will satisfy all those cravings for something that smells and tastes like American food.

The owner, Valentino, half english and half Italian, has created a relaxed environment with fast internet and a space where you can not only eat but also hang out and study. His staff are welcoming and friendly, obviously they all speak English and have years and years of experience working with the Florence student population.

Located only a short 5 minute walk from the Duomo, it’s a great place to stop for brunch (served all day), lunch, or dinner. Or in fact just to say hi and grab a take-away American or iced coffee on your way to class. The Diner is a study abroad staple!

Where to begin!!! After a big night out the bacon cheese burger is a must. On the way to work, the breakfast combo is a perfect balance between sweet and salty. And on the weekends it is hard to go past the blueberry pancakes and mimosa for brunch. In any case, it doesn’t matter when you go or who you go with, there is something on the menu for everyone – sweet, savory, hearty, or light.

  1. The Diner is awesome, my biggest thing I was craving when I was abroad was an iced coffee with a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches and The Diner does both extremely well.
